Once again Supervisor Dianne Scheib-Snider wastes township resources for her own personal gain.
I received an email from Clerk, Debbie Miller asking me to come in and correct some errors on my application to reserve the Civic Park shelter.
Please see Dianne’s email to Debbie Miller. Please note the numerous errors in Dianne’s email, italics;

Subject: Incomplete- invalid park lease agreement
Debbie,
The agreement lease between Mr Johnson and the Township for use of Civic Park shelter is not complete or valid. Both the lessee and the reason for the use are blank and must be filled in.
I went to the township offices on Thursday afternoon and corrected this.
The NOCFA PAC have been informed that Township property cannot be used to collect recall signatures or campaign per our recent attorneys opinion, opinion of the MTA and past practices. If that is a “reason” for use of our park he needs to be informed again it is not an legal allowable use.
A political campaign is not a public body under the law. See (MCL 15.243 (1) (r)).We have had 2 previous petition signings there and 2 others at Dearborn Park at the corner of Milford Rd and Davisburg Rd. Each time Dianne has tried to stop us referencing the same wrong conclusions. If the “public” is allowed to be there, we are allowed to be there. The township’s own attorney has had a grievance filed against him for providing the township with such a blatantly false opinion.
Also the lessee needs to provide the rental fee of $25 and performance of $100 as stated on the front of the lease form.
We have a reply to a FOIA request from the township that states that they have NEVER requested a rental fee or performance of ANY Rose Township resident. The ONLY time that they have ever requested a fee or deposit was when a City of Fenton resident reserved the Civic Park shelter for an event.
Header on form: Rose Township Policy adopted on 9-13-2000.
Per POLICY of the form, second paragraph: it CLEARLY states that “No reservation shall be considered confirmed until all facility agreements required by the Township have been signed and all fees have been paid”
The policy on the form also CLEARLY states under “fees” that the individuals reserving facilities must also provide verification they have obtained special event insurance.
Per the township’s own agent at Brown and Brown (the township insurance carrier) "it is not required by the current Rose Township Liability policy for these entities/people to purchase their own policy" The township has premise liability insurance.
Please inform Mr. Johnson that at this point his request to use a park shelter on October 2, 2022 is not valid nor confirmed until all rental requirements are met, per Rose Township policy as printed on his incomplete rental form.
Please note that Mr. Johnson also signed the incomplete form with the wrong date of October 26, 2022
I went to the township offices on Thursday afternoon and corrected this.
Regards,
Dianne Scheib-Snider

The agreement was witnessed by Deputy Clerk - Renee Craft and Deputy Treasurer - Dior Rushton. On Thursday Treasurer Paul Gambka told Dior Rushton that she was no longer allowed to witness signatures for myself, Don Speace or anyone affiliated with the Save NOCFA PAC.
Watch the meetings on YouTube, attend the meetings on the second Wednesday of the month, then ask yourself -
Why are positions filled without any postings?
Why aren't the positions posted?
Why aren't the voices of the people listened to?
Why are Special Board Meeting scheduled when most people are at work?
Should these people really remain in office?
Click the link below, watch a few meetings, then decide for yourself.

MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS :
It’s apparent that Dianne and Paul have a personal vendetta against the North Oakland County Fire Authority (NOCFA) fire chief Jeremy Lintz. For over 2 years they, along with the former NOCFA board “Citizen at Large” Peter Stouffer, have conspired to erode the public’s confidence in the fire chief. They don’t have cause to terminate the chief’s employment so they have repeatedly delayed votes on critical board agenda items costing Rose Township thousands and thousands AND THOUSANDS of dollars. They have tried to micro-manage the chief, putting residents in danger by forcing NOCFA to use ambulances and fire equipment LONG past their reliable life. They have created a non-functioning Rose Township board environment, something that NONE of the surrounding communities have. They constantly suppress the residents opinions and voices.
Your generous donation will help to fund our mission, and help to save Rose Township from the corruption in our government.
